Vizio E42Oi-B (42" inch LED TV)

The models of the Vizio E series packed with the finest picture quality for a very affordable and reasonable price. The image evinces deep black levels with little to no blooming and great bright-room performance, and it provides for plenty of adjustments. The Smart TV component combines ample content with a simple design.

Vizio EO42i-B Color accuracy and video processing is not quite as good as some other brand; poor quality sound; ho-hum styling; lackluster remote.

• Light-weight which makes it easy for wall mounting
• Each picture mode has very good qualities
• Built-in speakers that produce plenty of volume
• Black Detail option in the picture settings increases black saturation as well as creates more contrast

Bad About

• Annoying ticking noise from the fan when the TV is off
• High pitch hum produced from the display when the TV is on
• Aspect ratio issues with standard def programming could not be properly addressed
• Side angle viewing isn't great, but on par with other LED TVs
